Life presents challenges. Most "day-to-day" concerns can be effectively managed through a person's own efforts. However, when an issue emerges that is overwhelming or when a problem persists, consulting with an experienced professional can provide help and facilitate needed change for a healthier and happier life.
Our approach holds that counseling should be a relatively short-term process. For some clients a single consultation session is all that is required. For others, more extensive work may be indicated.
We work with a wide-range of life adjustment issues, career transitions, relationship concerns, and mental health symptoms - such as anxiety and depression. Our role is help identify problem behavior patterns and offer specific suggestions and strategies for bringing about needed changes. We have found that weekly counseling sessions are often unnecessary. In most instances, we meet with a client every two or three weeks. However, we are available 24/7 as needed.
